According to a statement by SPLM-N spokesperson Sanaa Philip Matar, the Sudanese Armed Forces are attacking SPLM-N-controlled positions around Dilling. <\/p>\n\n

In the early hours of this morning, Monday, January 13, 2025, the Sudanese Armed Forces attacked areas controlled by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) around the city of Dilling, where the two areas (Hajar Jawad and Karkraya) were attacked in a new violation of the understandings to deliver humanitarian aid to those affected in the Nuba Mountains \/ South Kordofan, as aid delivery operations are still ongoing in the cities of Kadugli and Jalad and are supposed to start later in other areas. <\/p>\n\n

The armed forces attacked the \u201cJebel Nawai\u201d area twice (September 9 and September 22, 2024), and carried out aerial bombardment on \u201cYabous\u201d in New Fung on December 19, 2024. Then it attacked the \u201cAbu Saiba\u201d area on December 24, 2024. This is the second attack on the \u201cKarkaraya\u201d area, as the area was attacked in September 2024 and the oil pumping station in \u201cKarkaraya\u201d, which is protected by SPLA forces and the New Sudan Police, was bombed. <\/p>\n\n
