On May 17, 2026, the Masalit community in Ohio, came together for a truly special occasion, the celebration of Masalit Language Day and the official launch of the Kudusi Ohio Chapter. The event brought together community members, leaders, scholars, and friends in a warm and festive atmosphere, making it a memorable day for the Masalit diaspora in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May 18 holds a meaningful place in the hearts of Masalit people around the world. Every year on this date, the community unites to honor and celebrate the Masalit language, a vital part of its identity, history, and culture. This year\u2019s celebration was made even more special by the historic launch of Kudusi\u2019s first chapter in the state of Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
