For his part, ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan emphasized that “the investigation is ongoing regarding past and present crimes and that he is committed to the issue of achieving justice for the victims of Darfur, although the world sometimes seems preoccupied with other issues, but as a judicial institution their work is clear and they are committed to moving forward to achieve justice whatever the challenges.”
